Life on the Farm: Got Dirt?

This is the first of what I expect will be weekly posts about life on our family farm.  I have read many blogs by other farmers, but I have not seen many by us old farts (a term my mother-in-law used on occasion).  I suspect this blog may be of interest to new farmers, old farmers, lovers of peaches (and other stone fruit), organic food nuts (consumers), and people concerned about the plight of the small family farmer.

Demystifying life on the farm may have one or more of the following consequences:

  1. Delight
  2. Dismay
  3. Drama
  4. Dialogue

The fourth consequence is the main purpose of this blog.  Feel free to comment and ask questions, but do it quickly because us old fart family farmers are a dying breed. The Naylors
